Al-Ittihad Club made a surprising move regarding Saleh Al-Shehri, the former Al-Hilal striker, after his club abandoned him during the past period.
Al-Hilal had announced a few days ago the departure of Saleh Al-Shehri, after his contract with the team officially ended, due to the Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus’ unwillingness to have him continue with the team.
Okaz newspaper revealed that Al-Ittihad has entered into negotiations with Saleh Al-Shehri to include him during the current summer transfer period, to strengthen the attacking line.
The newspaper added that the union’s move comes after Al-Shahri was close to signing with Al-Ettifaq Club, and is now close to joining the Tigers.
The Union wants to strengthen its ranks during the current period, in order to compensate its fans for the failure of last season by not achieving any noteworthy accomplishment.
