Italian Stefano Pioli is the new coach of Saudi Al-Nassr | Sports

Al-Nassr Club, a competitor in the Saudi Professional Football League, announced today, Wednesday, the signing of Italian coach Stefano Pioli.

“Stefano Pioli is a Nasraoui. Welcome to our new coach,” Al-Nassr said via the X social media platform.

Al-Nassr did not reveal the details of its contract with Pioli, the former Milan coach, who replaced Portuguese coach Luis Castro.

Castro’s dismissal

Al-Nassr announced yesterday, Tuesday, the dismissal of Castro’s services, one day after Al-Nassr’s 1-1 draw with the Iraqi police in the first round of the AFC Champions League for the elite.

Al-Nassr started its journey in the new season of the Saudi League, in which it won second place last season, with a draw against Al-Raed, then beat Al-Fayhaa before falling into the trap of a draw again against Al-Ahli.
