Sudan national team wins over Ghana 2-0

The Sudanese national team won over its Ghanaian counterpart with a score of (2-0), in the match that brought together the two teams for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Sudanese national team hosted its Ghanaian counterpart at the Benina Martyrs Stadium in the Libyan city of Benghazi, in the match that took place in the fourth round of Group Six matches.

Ahmed Hamed Mahmoud “El-Ch” opened the scoring for the Sudanese national team in the 62nd minute of the match, after dribbling from the Sudanese player and the ball reached the goal line, before El-Ch succeeded in shooting the ball into the net.

Mohamed Abdel-Rahman strengthened the Sudanese national team’s superiority in the 65th minute of the match, after he was alone in the Ghana goal to score the second goal for the Jedi Falcons, and the goal came after an assist from Ahmed Tabanga.

The Sudanese national team’s tally rose to 7 points in the sixth group of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, bringing the Jedi Falcons close to qualifying, as the team needs one point during the next two rounds to decide its promotion to Morocco 2025.

Ghana’s national team’s balance stagnated at two points in third place in Group Six, which includes Angola, Sudan, Ghana and Niger.
