Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, issued Resolution No. 1424 of 2024, issuing the financial and administrative regulations for travel procedures to attend meetings of international sports bodies, organizing meetings of international sports bodies in Egypt, forming Egyptian sports delegations, organizing the establishment of foreign camps, and the medical procedures required to be taken for sports delegations.
This includes restructuring all procedures and controls for sports delegations traveling outside Egypt and codifying them in a way that guarantees the achievement of sports achievements without extravagance in foreign participation.
In addition, codifying the procedures for hosting sports federations and bodies, tournaments, events and meetings within Egyptian territory in a way that ensures optimal benefit from that hosting.
As well as regulating and controlling the medical procedures required to be implemented, whether accompanying missions or events hosted by Egypt.
The Minister had previously issued a decision to restructure the medical system in all sports federations and the Egyptian Olympic Committee.
In the coming days, another package of procedures and controls will be issued in an effort to govern and control the financial and administrative performance of all sports federations and bodies, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
