Sergeant Ariel Sosnov, a fighter in the 605th Engineering Battalion, was killed yesterday (Wednesday) by a rocket hit in Moshav Avivim in the Upper Galilee. Sosnov, 20 years old from Jerusalem, was hit by a barrage fired from Lebanon alongside three other soldiers, who were evacuated in moderate condition to the Rambam hospitals in Haifa and Ziv in Safed. A fire broke out at the site following the rockets and was extinguished after a few hours by the fire crews. The barrage also caused damage to the electrical infrastructure in the area and caused disruptions in supply

In another rocket barrage launched yesterday from Lebanon, Sivan Sade, 18 years old from Kibbutz Kfar Masrik, was killed. Sade worked in the kibbutz fields, and his body was discovered by a passerby. His funeral will be held tomorrow at 11:00 in the cemetery of his kibbutz.
