Cairo News Channel reported in urgent news that the leader of the armed factions in Syria, Ahmed Al-Sharaa, known as “Al-Julani,” said that returning the displaced to Syria and building demolished homes is our top priority, adding that all factions will be dissolved and there will be no weapons except in the hands of the Syrian state.
Ahmed Al-Sharaa, Commander-in-Chief of the Military Operations Department in Syria, added that compulsory conscription in the Syrian army has been abolished, with the exception of some specializations and for short periods.
The political, security and humanitarian situation in Syria remains ambiguous, since the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad’s regime was announced by the armed factions led by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, led by Abu Muhammad al-Julani, amid warnings and demands from external powers to make efforts to avoid the collapse of vital Syrian institutions following the overthrow of the “Assad” regime.
