Data issued by the General Authority for Statistics showed that Saudi merchandise imports from Gulf Cooperation Council countries reached 16.4 One billion riyals during the third quarter2024a decrease of 14% compared to the same period in 2023.

During the period, the United Arab Emirates acquired 59% of total Saudi imports, at a value of 9.7 One billion riyals, a decrease of 22% compared to the same period in 2023.

Bahrain came in second place with about 2.9 billion riyals during the period, then Oman came in third with 2.5 billion riyals.
