14 faculty members at Balqa Applied University were selected among the top 2% of the most influential researchers worldwide, according to the updated researchers’ database of citation indicators prepared by Stanford University and the international publishing house Elsevier for the current year.
The President of the University, Ahmed Al-Ajlouni, congratulated the distinguished researchers on this outstanding global achievement, which demonstrates the excellence of the university’s teaching staff. He pointed out the interest the university gives to scientific research, one of its most important main objectives, and its role in achieving the goals of sustainable development and the advancement of the university at the local and international levels.
In turn, the Dean of Scientific Research and Innovation at the University, Amal Al-Abbadi, confirmed that the University will continue its approach of preparing a suitable research environment for researchers, providing the necessary support for scientific research, and networking with local and international universities and research centers to obtain more support for scientific research in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
It is worth mentioning that those who were chosen are: Omar Abdul Karim Abu Arqoub, Zaid Mahmoud Odeibat, Jaafar Ahmed Al-Zoubi, Malek Shahada Breik, Zakaria Qasim Al-Qudat, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ajou, Omar Ahmed Al-Zoubi, Omar Othman Badran, Moataz Atef Al-Azab, Ahmed Hassan Al-Wishah, Khalil Ibrahim Asaf, Ammar Ali Al-Momani, Mazen Mamoun Abu Khader, and Abdul Aziz Issam Al-Hamouri.
