The meeting held by the Zamalek Club Board of Directors, headed by Hussein Labib, regarding playing the next Al-Ahly match scheduled for next Tuesday, ended a short while ago.
The source explained that the Minister of Youth and Sports, Ashraf Sobhi, contacted Hassan Labib, but they unanimously refused to continue the competition in this manner.
A source confirmed to Masrawy that the Zamalek Board of Directors took 3 urgent decisions regarding this crisis, which were as follows:
1. International escalation with evidence and documents against the Football Association and the Club Association and revealing the compliments.
2. Submitting an official complaint against Tharwat Swailem to the Disciplinary Committee because of his insults to Zamalek.
3. Emphasis on not playing any match in the second round, regardless of the consequences.
Zamalek Club had confirmed during the recent period that it would refrain from playing any match in the second round without the rest of the clubs playing the postponements of the first round.
