Zamalek fans attacked the club’s board of directors, following the team’s match against Modern Sport.
The Zamalek club fans in the stands chanted: “Zamalek management, wake up and get over me, either excel, or get ahead of me.”
The fans also chanted: “Hussein, Labib, wake up and see the Zamalek chair. I don’t want to be afraid.”
The first football team of Zamalek Club was defeated by a score of 0-0 against its counterpart, Modern Sport, in the match that brought them together today, in the ninth round of the Egyptian League championship.
