Moises Caicedo, Chelsea midfielder, scored a wonderful goal against Bournemouth, in the 38th (last) round of the English Premier League.
Caicedo’s goal came from a long-range shot, during which he took advantage of the advance of the Bournemouth goalkeeper, who came out of his goal to clear the ball before the Chelsea striker arrived.
According to the Opta statistics network, Caicedo’s goal came from a distance of 50.5 yards, which is the furthest goal scored in a Premier League match for about 6 years.
She explained, “Wayne Rooney scored a goal from 57.7 yards for Everton against West Ham in 2017.”
If Chelsea achieves victory, it will rise to sixth place in the Premier League table with 63 points, while Bournemouth comes in 12th place with 48 points.
