Spanish press reports revealed today, Sunday, the date of the announcement by the Saudi Al-Qadisiyah Club of signing Nacho Fernandez, defender of the first team football team of the Spanish club Real Madrid.
According to the Spanish newspaper “AS”, the Al-Qadisiyah administration decided to contract with Nacho for two seasons for 20 million euros, after his contract with Al-Merengue was about to expire at the end of this month.
The newspaper indicated that the Spanish defender passed the medical examination in preparation for Al-Qadisiyah officially announcing the settlement of the deal tomorrow, Monday.
During the current season 2023-2024, Nacho, 34 years old, played 46 matches in various competitions with Real Madrid, scoring one goal, and won the Spanish League title, the Super Cup, and finally the Champions League title at the expense of Borussia Dortmund with Real Madrid.
It is noteworthy that Nacho participated in Spain’s 3-0 victory over Croatia in the match that brought them together in the first round of the European Nations Cup (Euro 2024).
