Hamo Beka, the mahraganat singer, faced several legal situations that led to his arrest by the security services more than once, most recently today, when the security services arrested him in the Zamalek area in Cairo, and it was found that he was escaping from the implementation of three judicial rulings on charges related to waste and licensing.
In January 2024, he was arrested after a quarrel in a café in 6th of October City, where a dispute broke out between him and the café owner, which led to injuries and material losses. He was later released after the two parties reconciled.
In August 2021, his car was caught on the public road in a place not designated for cars, which resulted in a traffic violation being issued against him.
In November 2020, he was sentenced to two years in prison with labor and a bail of 5,000 pounds, on charges of insulting and defaming the Music Professions Syndicate and assaulting a public employee while performing his work, but the sentence was later commuted.
