After opening an investigation into the publication of the “Al Tagamoa Butcher” clips, the Public Prosecution charges the perpetrators with two crimes

The Public Prosecution, in its statement tonight regarding the investigation into the publication of videos related to the case known in the media as the “Al Tagamoa Butcher,” called on everyone to completely refrain from this behavior, which constitutes the crimes of disclosing investigation secrets, influencing the judges assigned to adjudicate the case, and influencing public opinion in favor of or against the party to the lawsuit. It affirms that it will firmly confront these crimes to prosecute their perpetrators and bring them to urgent criminal trial.

The Attorney General, Counselor Mohamed Shawky, ordered an urgent investigation into the publication of video clips of the incident known in the media as the “Al Tagamoa Butcher Case,” within the framework of what the Public Prosecution observed through monitoring social media, regarding the spread of video clips of the incident.

The Public Prosecution stated, in a statement issued a short while ago, that publishing these clips constitutes two serious crimes according to Article 75 of the Criminal Procedure Code, and Articles 187 and 310 of the Penal Code.
