Sources in the Chamber of Tourism Companies revealed that the issuance of the B2C visa, which is one of the Umrah visas, has been stopped.
The “sources” added, in exclusive statements to Masrawy, that the B2C visa has been stopped and booked through the Saudi electronic Umrah portal so far in front of Egypt and Pakistan.
Ayman Abdel Latif, a member of the Chamber of Tourism Companies, revealed to Masrawy the reasons for stopping the issuance of the B2C visa in Egypt and Pakistan, which is one of the Umrah visas, explaining that this is due to its incorrect use by Egypt and Pakistan.
There are two types of Umrah visas, the first is the B2B visa, which is the regular visa for Umrah and works normally, and the second is the B2C.
In the following lines, Masrawy monitors the most important information about the B2C visa, which is one of the Umrah visas, as follows:
– A visa through which the individual travels to the Holy Lands indirectly.
– The pilgrim first goes to the Emirates or the Sultanate of Oman, with a special visa for one of the two countries.
– The pilgrim waits for 6 hours in transit, after which he leaves for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah rituals on a “B2C” visa.
In order for the Umrah pilgrim to travel on a B2C visa, his passport must be stamped with a travel stamp from all Arab countries, and he must have the Egyptian Umrah Gate barcode.
– The “B2C” visa system allows citizens from all countries of the world to obtain a visa and components of the Umrah program from the Saudi agent directly through the electronic system.
– It is a visa only and does not include services, transportation or accommodation.
– Its price is lower than the regular visa.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, revealed the formation of a work cell to follow up and manage the crisis of the death of Egyptian pilgrims, based on the assignments of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The Prime Minister indicated that the Crisis Cell is composed of officials from the ministries and concerned authorities, and one of its tasks, in accordance with the President’s directives, will be to provide support and assistance to the families of the deceased, as well as to study the reasons for what happened and work to prevent it from being repeated.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly explained that an investigation will be opened into any company that arranged the travel of these deceased pilgrims, outside the regulatory frameworks, and circumvented the organization of travel for the victims informally, and did not provide them with logistical services, indicating that decisive decisions will be taken, and the most severe penalties will be imposed, which will… It contributes to preventing these violations from being repeated again.
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities had directed the tourism companies implementing the Hajj regarding the presence of cases of missing or lost persons or sick cases in hospitals among the pilgrims, indicating that in these cases the Ministry must be notified through the office of the mission headquarters of the Hajj Tourism Affairs Office in both Mecca and Medina. So that the official Saudi authorities can be notified as soon as possible.
