Al-Ahly’s first football team managed to achieve victory over its counterpart, Al-Masry of Port Said, with a score of one goal to none, in the match that brought the two teams together today, as part of the postponed match between the two teams from the 18th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Al-Ahly succeeded in occupying the top spot in the Egyptian Premier League, after defeating Al-Masry of Port Said, with 69 points, while the Port Said team’s score stopped at 52 points in third place in the standings.
In the same round of the group, a 1-1 draw decided the match between Zamalek and Pyramids.
With this result, Pyramids raised its points to 69 points, in second place in the Egyptian Premier League table, while the White Knight raised its points to 49 points, in fifth place in the table.
