Artistic performances by the youth, in memory of the fallen residents of the Middle Arava Regional Council

The memorial project is presented in seven rooms with pictures of the fallen, works consisting of texts, paintings, clay works, mosaics, papier-mâché and more – all of which illustrate the loss and national pain of the people of Israel,

which are intended to preserve the Israeli collective memory, highlight the values ​​of heritage and connection to the people of Israel and the terrible and unbearable loss of the bereaved families.

The seven rooms are divided into different themes – a memorial room for the four martyrs of the ‘Iron Swords’ war from the Middle Araba – Four portraits in memory of The late Sgt. Rui Elias, 21 years old and the late Sgt. Gali Shakutai, 21 years old, both from Moshav Tzoper, the late Major Yiftach Shahar, 25 years old from Moshav Faran and the late Lt. Col. Ehad Cohen, son 20 from Moshav Idanwho fell during the battles in the Gaza Strip, whom the artist Liora Oren painted next to them, the eulogies of the family members, family photographs as well as personal notebooks, which allow visitors to write and share their memories of each of the fallen members of the Arava

A room dedicated to the events of October 7 and the ‘Iron Swords’ war– In which the photos and stories of some of the Nova party murderers, press clippings from the events of the war are displayed, while in the center of the room stands a creation of a map of Israel, made of papier-mâché, by girls 11-12 under the direction of the artist Mirla Amiran, in which all the settlements that were attacked on 7 in October.

A memorial room for the three martyrs of Moshav Ein Yahav- It displays three portraits painted by the artist Liora Oren, in memory of The late Sergeant Baruch Tanawho fell in the Yom Kippur Warthe late deputy Amit Ben Sade, who was killed in a car accident during his military service and the late Capt. Rotem Shani, who was killed in a car accident during his military service. Next to the photographs, the biographies of the three are shown.

Exhibition room of Moshav Ein Yahav artists Works that give expression to the current period: colorful and optimistic paintings as a kind of commemoration of the envelope as it was before the disaster, ceramic works, mosaics and cloth of anemones, symbolizing the condition of the people of Israel and the hope for restoration and revival that Israel will have, and more.
