Informed sources revealed that Counselor Adnan Fanjari has been nominated for the position of Minister of Justice in the new government of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, which is scheduled to be sworn in tomorrow, Wednesday.
Counselor Adnan Al-Fanjari held many positions, including the position of President of the Alexandria Court of Appeal. He is known for his competence and great discipline.
Counselor Adnan Al-Fanjari also assumed the position of Assistant Attorney General and Director of Judicial Inspection of Public Prosecutions in 2006.
He is responsible for evaluating the members of the Public Prosecution Office in the various prosecution offices, and then assessing their seriousness and activity in work. Based on that, he prepares a draft movement of members of the Public Prosecution Office, which is approved by the Attorney General and the Supreme Judicial Council.
Al-Fanjari participated in many scientific conferences and seminars, most notably the annual conference and general assembly of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA).
