Ceramica overcomes the obstacle of pioneers at the feet of Ahmed Yasser Rayan

The Ceramica Cleopatra team achieved a valuable victory over its counterpart Talaea El Gaish, with two goals to one, in the match that was held on the grounds of Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar Stadium, today, Friday, as part of the 22nd week of the Egyptian Premier League competition.

Ceramica Cleopatra’s first goal came early in the 4th minute, through Siddiq Ogola after a powerful shot from inside the penalty area, following a pass from his colleague Ahmed Ramadan Beckham.

Ayman Al-Ramadi, the coach of the Cleopatra Ceramica team, made an emergency substitution in the 12th minute of the match, with Rajab Nabil, the team’s defender, leaving and Khaled Sobhi entering due to injury.

Yousry Waheed succeeded in equalizing for Talaea El Gaish in the 37th minute, after a pass from striker Godwin Cheka, and the referee counted it after returning to the video technology after ensuring that there was no offside on the Talaea flank.

Ceramica Cleopatra quickly regained its lead, through striker Ahmed Yasser Rayan in the 40th minute, after following up on his colleague Ahmed Hani’s shot, which was blocked by goalkeeper Mohamed Shaaban, and the Ceramica striker easily followed it into an empty net.

Ahmed Qandousi scored a goal in the 61st minute, but the referee ruled it out for offside.

The referee canceled a penalty kick that he had awarded in favor of Yousry Waheed, Talaea El Gaish player, in the 67th minute, after returning to video technology.

Yousry Waheed almost equalized for Talaia El Gaish in the 85th minute, with a missile shot from inside the penalty area, but goalkeeper Mohamed Bassam shone and blocked the ball brilliantly, preserving Ceramica Cleopatra’s victory until the end of the match.

Ceramica Cleopatra raised its score to 31 points, rising to sixth place in the Egyptian Premier League table, while Talaea El Gaish’s score froze at 28 points in ninth place.
