The French company operating the third metro line confirmed that the change in the timing of the third metro line comes due to the preparations for the remaining phase of the third green line.
The company added that operating hours have been temporarily modified, starting from Ramadan 1, to begin at 7:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 a.m. throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

The stations scheduled to be opened are 3 underground stations (Al-Tawfiqia – Nile Valley – Gamaet Al-Dawal), an overhead station (Cairo University), and a surface station (Boulaq Al-Dakrour).
