Male and female students are waiting Junior certificate In Giza Governorate, their results for the second semester exams for the academic year 2023/2024 were announced, after the full completion of the exams last Thursday, corresponding to May 23.
191,068 male and female students took their exams for the second semester in Giza Governorate, which began on Saturday, May 18, 2024, and lasted for six days. They took their exams before 697 exam committees in educational departments, in addition to the 57,375 committee.
According to the exam schedule, the students of the preparatory certificate in Giza took the Arabic language and calligraphy exam on Saturday, May 18, 2024, and on Sunday, May 19, 2024, the exam for the subjects of algebra and statistics, and computer and information technology, and on Monday, May 20, 2024, the engineering exam.
On Tuesday, 5/21/2024, the students took the exam for the subjects of foreign language and religious education, and on Wednesday, 5/22/2024, the exam for the subjects of science and art education. They concluded their exams on Thursday, 5/23/2024, by taking the exam for the subjects of social studies and (physical education for students Saidia School.
For his part, Ashraf Salouma, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Giza, emphasized that graders must take care of accuracy in marking and give the student his full right to the paper, warning that accuracy should be taken into account in reviewing and the application of the rules of compassion in preparation for announcing the results.
The Directorate of Education in Giza is scheduled to set the date for announcing the results of the second semester exams for preparatory certificate students, during the coming days, after completing the correction work, monitoring and compiling the grades, preparing the final transcripts and approving them by Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza.
Once the correction work and grade monitoring are complete and approved by the governor, the students’ results will be available by name and seat number on the official website of the Giza Directorate of Education, with grades in all subjects, to facilitate the students and parents. The results will also be available on clear lists inside the schools.
Male and female preparatory school students can appeal the results of the second semester, as soon as they appear, by following the following steps and procedures:
1- The student or his guardian submits a grievance request to the Director General of the educational administration to which the student belongs, provided that he specifies the subject or subjects whose results he wishes to appeal.
2- Pay the prescribed fees according to the fax sent from the office of the Ministry of Education, which organizes payment of the prescribed fees for grievances.
3- The System and Monitoring Committee of the Educational Administration is directed to submit the application, obtain the payment receipt, and set an appointment to view the student’s exam papers for the subjects whose grades are being appealed.
4- After the end of the grievances period and reviewing the comments and observations made by the student or his guardian, those comments will be decided by a committee formed from the directions, each according to his specialization, and then the results will be announced regarding the student’s eligibility to appeal or his lack of eligibility.
– If the student is entitled to file a grievance and his grades are increased, he will be entitled to recover the financial value paid for the grievance.
