“Deputies’ Rights”: A beginning initiative consistent with the goals of the new republic to build the human being

MP Mohamed Reda El-Banna, member of the Human Rights Committee in the House of Representatives, praised the launch of the presidential initiative “A new beginning for building the Egyptian person“He stressed that it comes within the framework of interest in building the Egyptian person and in light of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with the aim of investing in human capital through a work program targeting human development and achieving progress in various health, educational, sports and cultural fields, and working to consolidate the Egyptian identity.

Al-Banna said that the New Beginning Initiative for Human Development comes in light of the directives of the political leadership and is consistent with the principles, goals and orientations of the new republic, which cares about the interests of the citizen and the rehabilitation and care of the human element to achieve human development and sustainable development.

The member of the House of Representatives pointed out that the new presidential initiative is consistent with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development and aims to achieve human development and care for the human element, which is considered the main cog in the progress of countries. The initiative also aims to enhance the state’s efforts to implement the comprehensive concept of human rights, from the right to education, the right to health and medicine, the right to a decent life and housing, and others.

Al-Banna explained that the presidential initiative “New Beginning” is concerned with providing health and social care and is keen to direct its services to all ages. It will contribute to strengthening social protection programs for needy families, and is also concerned with protecting the Egyptian family and empowering youth and women. He pointed out that the initiative included several main axes, such as strengthening national security, building the Egyptian person, developing a competitive economy, and achieving political stability. It also focuses on improving the health system, providing better education, securing decent job opportunities, and enhancing social protection, as well as targeting securing job opportunities by creating new job opportunities and skills development programs, in line with the needs of the labor market.
