The Dibba Football Club team was crowned champion of the U-21 Youth League competition, after defeating the Ras Al Khaimah team 6-0, in the match that took place at its stadium, within the matches of the 18th and final round of the competition, after the team raised its score to 48 points, to win the competition shield. Well deserved.
The goals of the match were scored by Musa Kony (two goals), Zayed Ibrahim, Ahmed Nabil, Khaled Abdullah, and Rashid Nabil.
During the coronation ceremony, Fahd Ismail Al Hosani, member of the Board of Directors of the Football Association, Vice Chairman of the Competitions Committee, handed over the technical and administrative staff and the players of the Dibba team gold medals and the league championship shield, in the presence of Ahmed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club and Dibba Football Company.
The Al Dhafra team succeeded in winning the “runner-up” title in the Youth League, after a positive draw with the Dibba Al Hisn team 2-2, within the same round, raising its score to 30 points, with only two points difference from the Al Orouba team in third place, which lost its match against the Fujairah team by three. Goals for one, and his score froze at 28 points.
Seven teams participated in this edition of the competition: Dibba, Al Dhafra, Al Orouba, Ras Al Khaimah, Al Arabi, Fujairah and Dibba Al Hisn, and their competitions were held over three rounds.
During its journey in the competition, the Dibba team collected 48 points, collected from winning 16 matches, while it lost two matches, and did not draw throughout the tournament. It has the strongest attack line with 73 goals, and the strongest defense line, as it conceded only 10 goals.
Musa Kony, the Dibba team player, was the top scorer in the competition with 20 goals, followed by his teammate, Stanley Ojoh, with 13 goals, and Al Arabi team player Hamad Ibrahim came in third place, with 11 goals.
