Books – Amr Saleh:

EgyptAir announced that its B737-800 flight No. MS4413, which was heading from Burj Al Arab Airport to Jeddah International Airport, returned to Burj Al Arab without passengers.

The plane was scheduled to transport the pilgrims after performing the Umrah rituals from Jeddah Airport to Burj Al Arab Airport. Shortly after takeoff, a sudden technical malfunction occurred in one of the plane’s systems, which resulted in the flight commander returning again to Burj Al Arab Airport in accordance with safety and security procedures.

The company said that out of concern for passengers, another Boeing B737-800 aircraft was prepared, which took off from Cairo Airport to Jeddah Airport to transport 140 passengers from Jeddah Airport. The aircraft arrived at Burj Al Arab Airport at 12:30 noon today.
