Egypt’s men’s volleyball team faces Kenya in the final of the African Games

The Egyptian men’s volleyball team will face its Kenyan counterpart at 6 pm today, Saturday, in the final of the African Games held in Accra, Ghana.

The Egyptian men’s volleyball team qualified for the final by defeating its Ghanaian counterpart with a score of 3-1 in the semi-finals.

The Egyptian men’s volleyball team defeated its Gambian counterpart with a score of 3-0 in the quarter-finals of the African Games.

The Egyptian men’s volleyball team succeeded in finishing the group stage with a full score, after a landslide victory over Burkina Faso with a score of 3/0 at the conclusion of the group stage.

The national team achieved victory over its counterpart Nigeria in its first match with a score of 3/1, then won over Cameroon with a score of 3/2 to end the round with a full score.

The Egyptian men’s national team was in the second group, alongside Cameroon, Nigeria and Burkina Faso.

The Egyptian national team’s list of men’s volleyball players includes: Ashraf El-Laqani, Mustafa Jaber, Saif Abed, Reda Heikal, Abdel-Rahman El-Husseini, Mohamed Asran, Ahmed Azab, Islam Abdel-Samei, Abdel-Rahman El-Shahat, Hamada Othman, Mohamed Adel, and Mohamed Reda.

The technical staff of the Egyptian national team is led by Ahmed Samir as technical director, Mohamed El-Sayed as general coach, Ahmed Saeed as technical analyst, and Dr. Abdel-Rahman Ghanem as physical therapist.
