Europa League standings after the end of the sixth round

The matches of the sixth round of the league stage of the European League Championship in its 2024-25 edition ended on Thursday evening.

The sixth round witnessed exciting results, as Athletic Bilbao achieved a 2-0 victory away from home against Fenerbahce, and Roma defeated Sporting Braga with a score of 3-0 at home in Italy.

As for the Nice club, it suffered in the absence of Mohamed Abdel Moneim, the Egyptian national team’s defender, as it was defeated by the Saint-Geloise team with a score of 2-1. Manchester United defeated the Viktoria Plzeň team with a score of 2-1 away from home.

Tottenham also stumbled in a 1-1 draw against Glasgow Rangers, and Real Sociedad won at home against Dynamo Kiev, and despite Eintracht Frankfurt’s participation of Egyptian Omar Marmoush late and scoring a goal against French Lyon, the German team suffered a 3-2 defeat.

Al-Ahly’s competitor in the 2025 Club World Cup is the Portuguese team Porto, which defeated the Danish team Midtjylland with a score of 2-0.

With these results, Lazio continues to lead the European League standings with 16 points, the same score as Athletic Bilbao, which is in second place.
