Natibi Israel Company will begin in the near future the extension of the metro line to the Kiryat Bialik industrial area as part of the Metron Acre project. The project, led by the Ministry of Transportation and Road Safety, will allow the residents of Kiryat Bialik and the surrounding area to enjoy a fast, efficient and accessible public transportation service.

The works will be carried out in the area of the stretch of road along Highway 4 from the Kurdani intersection to the Keri Naaman interchange and from the Keri Naaman interchange to the Ein Hafaretz intersection. The extension of the metro line is expected to bring significant news to the residents of the area, both in terms of transportation accessibility and the development of the local economy.

The extended line will allow the residents of Kiryat Bialik and surrounding communities to easily and quickly reach Haifa city center, Acre, the Matam industrial area and academic institutions such as the University of Haifa and the Technion.

In addition, the extension of the line is expected to contribute to the development of the Kiryat Bialik industrial area and attract new businesses to the area. Ten stations will be established along the new line: Kalil, Han St., Raphael South, Raphael North, Keri Naaman, Milovat South, Milovat North, Kfar Brik, Baltimore and the Ein Hamfaretz junction.

The mayor of Kiryat Bialik, Eli Dukorski, welcomed the start of the works and noted that “the extension of the metro line will enable a significant relief of traffic congestion on the main roads, improve air quality, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote green and sustainable public transportation in our areas.”
