Filming “Al-Maddah, The Legend of Return” in 5 cities

Director Ahmed Samir Farag is racing against time to finish filming the remaining scenes of the fourth season of the series “Al-Maddah…The Legend of Return,” noting that the delay is due to the difficulty of moving around the filming locations, as it takes place in 5 distant tourist cities, including the Kom el-Shuqafa area in Alexandria. And the tombs of Burj Burullus, Mount Death, and the Temple of the Revelation of Amun in the Siwa Oasis, in addition to filming a number of scenes on the Nile in Aswan, in addition to the city of Fayoum.

Faraj said: “In every new season of “Al Maddah,” we look to compete with ourselves as a work team, as our work journey has turned into a true passion and not just ordinary work, in addition to scrutiny and real research into the nature of things, topics, and even the names that are chosen for the heroes.”

He added: “Success increases the psychological burden on the work team to provide the best in every season, as I was keen in the fourth season to highlight archaeological landmarks such as the “Pyramid of Djoser” and some areas of Saqqara, and there are new characters who joined the events and have a great influence on the context of the drama, especially those who present Roles of evil.

He continued: “The events of the series are dealt with from four aspects: the legal side, the medical side, and the religious side, in addition to the humanitarian side. We provide documentation in a dramatic framework for a person living this reality, and we present the issue in an easy, simple and direct way, without siding with one side over another.”
