The family of the artist Ahmed Adawiya announced the date and place of their reception of condolences for his wife, who left our world today, Thursday, May 16.
The family of the deceased will receive condolences on the evening of Saturday, May 18, at the Hussein Sedqi Mosque in the Maadi area, and her funeral will be held today, after the funeral prayer is performed over her after the Maghrib prayer at the Sayyida Nafisa Mosque.
The official page of the artist, Muhammad Adawiya, the son of the deceased, wrote on Facebook, “We belong to God and to Him we shall return. The wife of the artist Ahmed Adawiya and the mother of the artist Muhammad Adawiya have passed away, and today the burial is after the Maghrib prayer in the Sayyida Nafisa Mosque, and the condolences are on Saturday in the Hussein Sidqi Mosque in Maadi.” .
The poet Salah Attia, in a special statement to “Masrawy”, said: “May God have mercy on her, Mrs. Wanisa. She died at her home today, Thursday.”
The great popular singer, Ahmed Adawiya, married the late Wanisa, known as “Nawsa,” in 1976, and he had a son, the singer Muhammad Adawiya, and a daughter, Warda.
