Apart from that, the train stations at the Holon Junction, Holon Wolfson, Bat Yam Yoseftal, Bat Yam Kommiam and Rishon Lezion Moshe Dayan will be closed from 20:30 until Friday at 16:00.

As far as the bus lines are concerned, the Mobit company says that there are no significant changes and that the impact will come as a result of the diversion of the routes and the expected traffic loads.

“Closing Ayalon during the busiest hours of the week – a spit in the face”

The decision to carry out the works on the roads in the middle of the week comes in the wake of ultra-Orthodox opposition to carrying out works on Shabbat. Among other things, the work on the construction of the railway bridge on track 431 over highway 1 was transferred for five days instead of one weekend.

Deputy Minister of Transportation, Uri Makleb: “We will compensate the residents of the State of Israel by strengthening the observance of Shabbat. This is the strongest compensation.”

MK Merav Michaeli attacked the decision: “A week after we were exposed to what occupies the woman who serves as the Minister of Transportation and how low the public and the state are in her order of priorities, we accept and accept it in the form of a slap in the face by closing Ayalon during the busiest and most congested hours of the week, in order to continue to lick partners the ultra-Orthodox”.
