A responsible source at Al-Ahly Club revealed that Sami Qamssan, the general coach of the football team, and Amir Tawfiq, the executive director of Al-Ahly Football Company, received the green light from the planning committee to begin negotiations to renew the contract with Akram Tawfiq.
The same source explained in exclusive statements to Masrawy today, Sunday, that Qamis and Amir Tawfik will hold a session with the player after his return from the vacation he took to know his financial demands to renew the contract for 3 years.
The source indicated that Al-Ahly had negotiated with Akram Tawfik for some time to renew his contract, then the negotiations were temporarily halted before he got a vacation like the rest of his colleagues after the end of the season.
Akram Tawfik’s contract with Al-Ahly, 26 years old, ends at the end of next season.
