The Lebanese Hezbollah announced that it targeted the Israeli occupation artillery in Al-Zaourah in the occupied Golan with dozens of Katyusha rockets, according to breaking news on the Cairo News Channel.
The Israeli newspaper Maariv said that more than 50 missiles were launched from southern Lebanon towards Israel.
The Israel Hayom network confirmed that dozens of rockets were launched from southern Lebanon towards the Galilee in northern Israel, noting that the sound of an explosion of interceptor missiles was heard in the airspace of border towns in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon.
Sirens also sounded in several Israeli towns in the Upper Galilee, and explosions were heard.
