It was decided that Omar Sayed Moawad, a player in the Al-Ahly club’s youth team, will move to Spanish club Real Betis, starting in the next winter transfer period of 2025.
The Spanish team wrote on its official account: “Real Betis completes its agreement with Al-Ahly of Egypt to transfer the rising talent Omar Sayed Moawad to its ranks.”
He added: “The Egyptian talent will officially move to the Andalusian team next January.”
Omar Sayed Moawad was suffering during the recent period from a tear in the cruciate ligament in the knee. The player is currently undergoing a rehabilitation period to get rid of the injury.
Who is Omar Saad Moawad?
Sayed Moawad is 18 years old, and was born in 2006.
Moawad joined Al-Ahly Club when he was nine years old.
Moawad previously spent a period of time at Real Betis, during the period from July 14 to August 11, 2023.
Omar Sayed Moawad is good at playing in the right and left wing positions.
Omar Sayed Moawad suffered a cruciate ligament tear during the Al-Ahly match, born in 2006, during the month of September 2023.
In October, Al-Ahly Club signed a four-year contract with the player.
It is worth noting that Omar Sayed Moawad comes from a large sports family, as his father is the former Al-Ahly star Sayed Moawad, in addition to his maternal grandfather, who is also the Red Giant star, Ramadan Al-Sayed.
