Manama, May 11 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, today performed the funeral prayer over the body of His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Head of the Military Office of His Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, This was at the mosque of His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa. He also performed prayers with His Majesty, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, and representatives of His Majesty the Great King, and senior members of the honorable royal family and senior officials.
His Majesty the King offered condolences and sympathy to His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, His Excellency Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, and the brothers and children of the deceased, asking God Almighty to May He cover him with His vast mercy and contentment and dwell him in His spacious Paradise.
His Majesty recalled the virtues of the deceased, praising his good efforts and great contributions, may God have mercy on him, in serving the nation through the positions and responsibilities he assumed in the state, stressing that the deceased was one of Bahraini’s loyal men who gave a lot to the renaissance, development and growth of their country.
His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa, His Excellency the Minister of the Royal Court, His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, and the brothers and children of the deceased extended their sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty for His Majesty’s condolences and sympathy to them on the death of their deceased, may God have mercy on him, and for the generous paternal feelings he expressed and to his Crown Prince. And his honorable sons, we pray to God Almighty to preserve His Majesty and grant him abundant health, happiness, complete well-being and long life, and to achieve for the Kingdom under his wise leadership the progress, glory and prosperity it aspires to.
