Actress Amira Fathi denied the rumors circulated by some about her being the daughter of the great artist Sawsan Badr or the sister of Al-Ahly club player Ahmed Fathi, stressing that the matter was just confusion from the public.

During her appearance on the “Kalam Al-Nas” program on MBC Egypt, Amira Fathi commented on the rumors by saying: “The topic of Professor Sawsan Badr was a great honor for me, and I love her on the human and artistic level. We worked together in the 60-episode series, and my mother was actually at work, but “It only stopped with the series.”
As for the rumor of her association with the player Ahmed Fathi, Amira said: “This is a very strange matter. One time I entered a phone accessories store, and I was surprised by the owner of the store telling me: ‘I am betting with one of my friends that you are not Ahmed Fathi’s sister, for a gain of 1,000 pounds.’”
