Ibrahim Hassan, the national team manager, said that he hopes that Eintracht Frankfurt player Omar Marmoush will respond to them and postpone the surgery that he will undergo.
Hassan added, during a session with journalists on Monday: “We hope that Marmoush will respond to us and postpone the operation and that the national team will be a priority for everyone.”
During the coming period, the Egyptian national team, led by Hossam Hassan, is preparing to enter a camp during the month of June. During which the team will play two matches against each of Burkina Faso and Equatorial Guinea, as part of the World Cup qualifiers.
The national team will meet its counterpart Burkina Faso on June 3 in the third round of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, then it will meet the Guinea-Bissau national team on the 10th of the same month in the fourth round of qualifiers.
