One of the biggest and richest boxers in the world, Floyd Mayweather, arrived today (Wednesday) for a support and solidarity visit to Magan David Adom, toured the MDA National Blood Bank in Ramla and dedicated 10 emergency motorcycles that were donated in his honor as part of his visit to Israel.
Mayweather heard the story of Magen David Adom crews who lost their lives on 7/10 and met with the crews who operated on the first day of the war, under fire and risking their lives, in order to save civilian lives. In addition, the American met the Magen David Adom teams that operate in the northern and southern sector.
Mayweather was also impressed by the activities of the medics and paramedics at MDA’s 101 emergency call center, who respond to emergency calls using advanced technologies that enable accurate and quick arrival at medical incident scenes. At the end of the visit, he inaugurated and cut the film for ten new emergency motorcycles that were donated to MDA in his honor and will join the 600 The emergency motorcycles in the MDA biker unit.
