Minya – Gamal Muhammad:
The body of the father of Captain Walid Soliman, captain of Al-Ahly club and former Egyptian national team player, arrived at Al-Ayyida Mosque in the city of Beni Mazar, north of Minya, to perform the funeral prayer over him, and to head to the family graves.
Player Walid Suleiman was next to his father’s body inside the mosque in a state of sadness and crying, holding a Qur’an from which he recited the Qur’an for his father’s soul.
The player, Walid Suleiman, had his father die today. He said in a post on his official page on the social networking site Facebook, “We only say what pleases God. We belong to God and to Him we shall return. My dear father has passed away to God’s mercy… The eyes are filled with tears and the heart is sad, and I am saddened by your separation. We ask you to pray.” “.
Al-Ahly Club, headed by Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, also issued a statement mourning the player’s father.
