K-Pop star Park Bo Ram has died at the age of 30

Park Boram, the star of a TV singing competition show called Superstar K2, died on Tuesday, April 11, according to confirmation from her record label in Korea.

Park’s agency, Xanadu Entertainment, published the news of the singer’s sudden death on Friday, April 12, in Korea, and said that the cause of death was under investigation by the police.

The deceased has reportedly been working on new music after releasing two new songs earlier this year.

She officially debuted on the scene on August 7, 2014, with the single “Beautiful”, and won Female Artist of the Year honors for August’s chart-topper at the 2014 Gaon Chart Music Awards.
