Kohler decides Kahraba’s fate at Al-Ahly before facing Al-Dakhiliya in the league


Hold Marcel Kohler Al-Ahly’s technical director held a meeting with his player Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba before the match against Al-Dakhiliya to decide his position regarding the match after the player’s crisis that erupted after the match against Farco, as a result of which Kahraba was excluded from the list for the match against Al-Tala’ea.


Kahraba caused a crisis after the match against Farco due to his non-participation in the training session held for those excluded from the match. Some interpreted the player’s non-participation as an objection to his not participating as a starter or substitute in the match against Farco, which Al-Ahly won by two goals to one, before the player returned to regular training for those excluded from the list for the match against Al-Tala’ea.


Al-Ahly is preparing to face Al-Dakhiliya, scheduled for 7 pm next Thursday at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the twenty-ninth round of the Egyptian League.


Al-Ahly achieved a great victory over Al-Tala’ea, with four goals to none, in its last appearance in the local competition. The match between Al-Ahly and Al-Dakhiliya is important in the Red Devils’ journey to correct its path in the league table by winning all its matches to rise to the top of the competition to maintain the local title after the African coronation.

On the other hand, Marcel Koller, the team’s technical director, expressed his happiness with the victory achieved. Al-Ahly Al-Tala’ea Al-Gaish defeated the team by four goals to none, in the match that was held on Monday evening at the Military College Stadium, and was postponed from the thirteenth round of the Premier League.

Kohler stressed that Al-Ahly faces pressure from matches in the league championship, and that the team plays a match every 48 hours, which the technical staff is facing by developing the playing style and focusing on exploiting opportunities and rotating between players to confront the psychological, mental and technical pressure that the team is exposed to.


Marcel Koller concluded his statements by stressing that Al-Ahly is fighting from one match to another in the competition in search of winning the league championship, and that he has the technical solutions to compensate for any absence from the team.
