ANKARA – January 10 (KUNA) – The Ambassador of the State of Kuwait in Baku, Muhammad Al-Mutairi, today, Friday, presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the friendly Republic of Azerbaijan to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Baku stated in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that Ambassador Al-Mutairi conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Emir of the country, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and preserve him, and His Highness the faithful Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him, to President Aliyev during the presentation ceremony. Credentials held at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Baku.
During the meeting, Ambassador Al-Mutairi expressed the sincere desire of the State of Kuwait to develop and develop bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and to achieve the visions of the two leaderships and transfer them to the highest level in bilateral relations in all fields and levels and to broader levels, as well as in areas of common interest towards the issues and challenges on the agenda of the United Nations. .
Ambassador Al-Mutairi also congratulated President Aliyev on Azerbaijan’s success in hosting and organizing the World Climate Change Summit (COP29).
For his part, President Aliyev praised, according to the statement, the level of political relations between the two countries, describing them as distinguished.
He expressed his aspiration to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries in all fields and levels, bilaterally or through multilateral work.
He also expressed the Republic of Azerbaijan’s appreciation for the participation of the State of Kuwait in the United Nations Climate Change Conference and the high level of representation, as the participating Kuwaiti delegation was headed by the representative of His Highness the Emir of the country, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect him and preserve him, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him, which reflects the keenness of The State of Kuwait and its interest in Azerbaijan’s success in organizing this important conference.
