The latest report issued by Egyptian Association for Compulsory Insurance The New Cairo Traffic Unit ranked first in terms of the highest licensed units during April 2024, with 819 vehicles licensed.
The Nasr City traffic unit came in second place with 571, then Al-Hawamdiya 496, then Al-Amiriya 459, then 6 October 426. The Salloum port received 9228 vehicles, Nuweiba 2046, then Taba 1099.
It is worth noting that the data issued by the Egyptian Compulsory Vehicle Insurance Association for the month of February 2024 stated in its report that the number of vehicles that were compulsorily insured and licensed as “zero” was 24,868 vehicles. This means a decrease from the previous month (January) by about 9,579 vehicles.
The February report also confirmed that the total number of vehicles for which insurance documents were issued was 3,920 vehicles of the 2021 model year, 6,029 vehicles of the 2022 model year, 5,624 vehicles of the 2023 model year, 9,294 vehicles of the 2024 model year, and one vehicle of the 2025 model year.
The angel
The report added that the number of zero-owner cars for which insurance documents were issued and licensed was 8,249, including 246 2021 model cars, 539 2022 model cars, 1,941 2023 model cars, 5,522 2024 model cars, and one 2025 model car.
Motorized bicycles
As for motorcycles, the total number of motorcycles issued and licensed reached 14,538, including 3,499 2021 models, 4,962 2022 models, 3,288 2023 models, and 2,789 2024 models.
Transfer
As for transportation vehicles, their number reached 1,231, including 83 2021 models, 252 2022 models, 232 2023 models, and 574 2023 models.
