Mahmoud Shaheen, director of photography, nephew of the artist Elham Shaheen, was a guest on the “Jasmine Tea” program, presented by the journalist Yasmine Al-Khatib, broadcast on “An-Nahar” satellite channel.
Mahmoud Shaheen spoke about his relationship with his aunt, Elham Shaheen, saying: “Elham always tells me to take care of your actions, because I am a very random person, and Elham may never make a mistake.”
He added: “We learned the religion very well and we respect all the people around us. None of us has ever had a problem with anyone. This is what we were raised on by my mother and Elham. We were raised on the idea of accepting others and accepting everything.”
He continued: “I was disturbed by strange people entering the celebration, and who are these people and who is photographing us? The idea is that suddenly we are all happy and I find strange people in the celebration. I didn’t worry, but this is an invasion of privacy.”
Mahmoud Shaheen, the son of the artist Elham Shaheen’s brother, celebrated his wedding on Thursday, September 5.
Singer Mohamed Hamaki, producer Hamdy Badr, Amir Shaheen, director Manal Al-Saifi, and artist Elham Safi El-Din, his cousin, were keen to attend. Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Nisreen Imam, Hajar Al-Sharnoubi, Mohamed Ezz, Sarah Abdel Rahman, Weam Magdy, and director Hossam Al-Husseini also attended. Scriptwriters Tamer Habib, Naglaa Badr, Mohamed El Sharnouby, Nahed El Sebaei and other stars.
