Artist Medhat Saleh announced through his official Instagram account the death of his brother Ahmed, where he published a picture of him and commented on it with touching words, bidding him farewell and praying for mercy and forgiveness.
Medhat said in his farewell to his brother: “Goodbye, Ahmed. Goodbye, my son. Goodbye, my beloved. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.”
Medhat Saleh wrote another post in which he revealed the date of his brother’s funeral, where he said: “The funeral prayer is after Friday prayers from Al-Husri Mosque on October 6. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.”
The Syndicate of Musical Professions, headed by the artist Mustafa Kamel, mourned the late artist with great sadness and sorrow, as it issued a statement in which it said: “The Syndicate and members of the Board of Directors extend their sincere condolences to the family of the artist Medhat Saleh, praying to the Almighty God to cover him with his vast mercy, dwell him in His spacious paradise, and to inspire his family and loved ones with patience.” And solace, and to God we belong, and to Him we shall return.”
It is noteworthy that Medhat Saleh’s latest artistic work is his participation in the starring role of the second part of the series “And We Been Ma’ad”, alongside the artists: Sabry Fawaz, Sherine Reda, Basma, Wafaa Sadiq, Muhammad Suleiman, Hajar Al-Sharnoubi, Nadia Rashad, Osama Al-Hadi, Aya Selim, Youssef El-Kedwany…, and the events of the series take place within a social context.
