A short while ago, a number of media figures and public figures arrived to perform the funeral prayer for the sister of journalist Khairy Ramadan, at the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed.
The journalist Amr Al-Laithi arrived in his first appearance since he was injured as a result of falling into a hole while filming an episode of the “One of the People” program, and the journalist Ahmed Moussa, the artist Sameh Al-Sariti, the engineer Osama Ali Asran, Deputy Minister of Electricity, and the journalist Khaled Al-Baramawi, Khaled Abdel Aziz, and Ibrahim. Al-Muallem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dar Al-Shorouk, to perform the funeral prayer.
It is noteworthy that Barksam Ramadan, the sister of journalist Khairy Ramadan, deputy editor-in-chief of Al-Akhbar newspaper, died yesterday, Thursday.
She graduated from the College of Arts, Department of Journalism, in 1974 and has worked as literary editor for Al-Akhbar newspaper since 1976.
