Liverpool coach Arne Slot announced the official lineup that will play the Real Betis match at 2:30 am today, Saturday, at Akresor Stadium in the first friendly match in the United States of America in preparation for the new 2024-2025 season.
Egyptian star Mohamed Salah led Liverpool’s attack against Real Betis in the Reds’ first friendly match on their summer tour of America.
Liverpool’s lineup against Real Betis is as follows:
Kelleher in goal, Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai, Ouattara Endo, Curtis Jones, Elliott, Tsimikas, Carvalho, Van den Berg, Jarrell Quansah, Connor Bradley.
Liverpool will be without a host of stars for the summer break after playing in the Euro 2024 and Copa America tournaments, including Alexis Mac Allister, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Alisson, Virgil van Dijk, Cody Gakpo, Ryan Gravenberch, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Diogo Jota and Ibrahima Konate.
A number of those senior players are expected to join their team-mates later in the summer tour of America, with the Reds also missing striker Jayden Danz with a back problem, while fellow youngster Bobby Clarke will also remain at the back as he works his way back into fitness after injury.
