The price of gold fell sharply today, Saturday, in Egypt by the end of trading, and the gram fell by more than 100 pounds compared to mid-dealing prices, recording about 2,800 pounds by six in the evening instead of 2,920 pounds in mid-dealing.

The price of a gram also fell by 5 pounds in morning trading, and another 5 pounds at the end of trading, driven by the decline in the price of the dollar on the black market after signing the entry of financial flows from the Ras El Hekma project agreement for the Central Bank.

Gold prices today

14 karat gold prices fell to 1867 pounds per gram.

The price of 18 karat gold fell to about 2,400 pounds per gram.

The price of 21 carat gold fell to 2,800 pounds per gram.

The price of 24 karat gold fell to about 3,200 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound

The price of the gold pound fell to 22,400 pounds, and the price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.

Gold price globally

The price of gold rose globally to about $2,083 per ounce (an ounce is equivalent to about 31.1 grams of 24 karat), an increase of 1.89% by the end of the week, according to the latest update of Bloomberg data.
