The total value of real estate trading in the Sultanate of Oman recorded an increase of 28.1 percent at the end of November 2024, reaching 3 billion, 130 million and 800 thousand Omani riyals, compared to 2 billion, 444 million and 600 thousand Omani riyals during the same period in 2023.
Statistics issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information indicated that the fees collected for all legal transactions amounted to 62.1 million Omani riyals, an increase of 2.6 percent from the end of November 2023, while the traded value of sales contracts amounted to one billion, one million and 700 thousand Omani riyals, an increase of 3.1 percent for 61 thousand and 552 contracts. Sell with an increase in the number of contracts by 1.9 percent.
The traded value of mortgage contracts increased by 44.8 percent, recording two billion, 116 million and 800 thousand Omani riyals for 18,846 contracts, while the number of swap contracts reached 1,223 contracts, worth 12.4 million Omani riyals.
The number of properties issued by the end of November 2024 amounted to about 210,483 properties, a decrease of 3.4 percent, while the number of properties issued to members of the Gulf Cooperation Council reached 1,325 properties, an increase of 6.8 percent.
