Nice taught their guest Saint-Etienne a lesson in the art of football, beating them 8-0 in the match that brought them together, in the fifth round of the French Football League.
Nice ended the first half leading 6-0, with goals scored by Saint-Etienne player Dylan Batubinsika, who put the ball into his own net in the fourth minute, Tanguy Ndombele in the seventh minute, Mohamed Ali Shaw in the 24th minute, Youssoufa Moukoko (two goals) in the 26th and 39th minutes, and Yvan Guisand in the 37th minute.
In the second half, Nice scored two goals through Sofiane Diop in the 76th minute, and Pablo Rosario in the 86th minute from a penalty kick.
Nice raised its score to 7 points in fifth place, while Saint-Etienne’s score stopped at 3 points in 16th place.
