Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his generous trust, stressing that we will spare no effort in working under his leadership to provide everything that befits our great country and its great people.
In his first statements, he also thanked Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, for his confidence and choosing him as Minister of Endowments in the new government formation.
He extended his thanks to Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, the former Minister of Endowments, for all the efforts he made in shouldering the responsibility, and God willing, we will complete the journey and build on everything that came before.
He added: To the great people of Egypt, whom we have been entrusted with serving, we will do everything in our power and energy in appreciation and reverence for our honorable people in all parts of the country.
He addressed a word to scholars, preachers, orators and all workers in the Ministry of Endowments, that we all work to provide beneficial and enlightening knowledge, and to provide everything beautiful and elegant, so that we fill the awareness of all Egyptians with knowledge, hope, work and success, and we overcome all the challenges of our great country, and the mosques, pulpits and houses of God Almighty are a source of radiance and light, as is their great role.
Al-Azhari stressed the need to continue working and exert maximum effort in developing advocacy work, developing and qualifying imams and preachers, preparing advocacy programs specifically for young people that take into account their needs and interests and respond to their questions, improving and properly managing endowment funds, and cooperating with all religious institutions.
The Minister of Endowments reiterated his emphasis on facing the challenges facing advocacy work, making use of the energies of preachers in a correct manner, taking into consideration the issues that concern society, and spreading the correct religious values and the great prophetic Muhammadan morals.
He pointed out that he received congratulatory messages from all over Egypt and from our Arab and Islamic surroundings, as he received congratulatory messages from Morocco, Nigeria, Lebanon, Brazil, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Britain, Tunisia, Iraq, the Emirates, Jordan, Yemen, the Sultanate of Brunei, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Australia, Sri Lanka and Dagestan. He said: I am honored to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who has kindly extended my dear congratulations, with a promise to all institutions and friends in all those countries that we will work with them to provide everything that is beneficial to all our countries and to all humanity in the entire world.
